Roofs:
Use the Stainless Steel bird spikes on roof peaks and edges, as this is where the pest birds will want to land.  Pest birds such as pigeons will land on a peak of a roof, looking for food, looking for a place to roost or a sheltered area to build a nest.

Bird Spike 2001 comes in 2-foot strips, and is very easy to install.  The Spikes have pre-drilled holes along the base, and can be glued down or nailed or screwed into any surface. For the complete installation guide, please click on the link above.

Before installing any pest bird control product be sure to thoroughly clean all surfaces. It is also important to remove leaves, nests and other debris before disinfecting.

Stainless steel bird spikes are easily installed using adhesive or screws.

For Wood: Use #8 wood screws.  You will need 6 - #8 wood screws per 2ft. section of bird spike.

For Concrete, Brick or Steel: Use construction grade Adhesive (do not use liquid nails or silicone) to install the bird spikes on these surfaces as well as on rooftops.  Run a bead line of adhesive on the under side of the bird spike strip.  One tube of adhesive will cover up to 25 feet of bird spike.
