Flash tape “crackles” in the wind scaring off pest birds visually and audibly
Installation:
The tape comes in a roll of 150 feet by two inches wide. You simply cut off strips of the tape and attach them to the area where you want to deter pest birds. Each strip of tape should be at least 1-2 feet long, so that the bird can easily see the product as they approach the area. For best results, it’s important to install the bird deterrent flash tape before your edibles ripen.
Tying strips directly to a plant:
-It is recommended that you tie a 1.5 foot strip every fourth vine, every
second row.
Tying strips to poles:
-Place poles about every twenty feet. Poles should extend over the plants by at least two feet. Cut four to six strips each 2-3 feet long and tie to the top of the pole.
